The protection of your personal data and privacy is of great importance to us. Our data protection practice is based on the applicable data protection regulations, as well as the general legal requirements.
Our technical and organizational security measures are kept up to date and optimized to best protect your data against unauthorized access by third parties and against manipulation, loss or destruction.

Personal data
Personal data means all information regarding your identity, such as your name, address, postal address, telephone number, your e-mail address or even your IP address. Information such as frequently visited websites or the number of users of a page are not included, as these cannot be directly related to your real identity.
Anonymized data
When accessing our website, general information is automatically stored (eg number and duration of users of individual pages or similar), which are used exclusively for statistical purposes and which we use to optimize our website. These data are processed in anonymous form and are therefore not personal.
Embedded content from other websites
Contributions to our website may include embedded content (e.g. insurance, information, etc.). You can read the privacy policy of the embedded content on the corresponding external website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking services from third parties, if you have an interaction with this embedded content and are logged into their website.
Data that we collect from you
Just for a visit and a research on our internet pages it is not necessary to provide personal data. We will not collect any personal information from you in this case.
However, we require personal data from you to be able to process the services and offers selected by you. For a personal offer, we need your name, an e-mail address and a telephone number for any queries.
When booking a travel arranged or organized by us, the knowledge of personal data is essential. This also applies to the transmission of e-mails, filling out a form or using online services. When booking tourist services, the personal data of fellow travelers is also collected. Please make sure that you have obtained the consent of third parties before you forward information to us.
Security of transmitted data
If you request information through our web pages or send us a travel request and personal details are provided, this information will be transmitted to us via an SSL-encrypted connection. This protects your data against third-party access.
Personal data – how are they used and processed
Islands and More sells tourism services, as well as associated services. The collection, processing and use of data is solely for this purpose. If the collection and processing of personal data which are collected for preparation of offers are used only for this purpose. Only personalized offers can maintain a level of service that is standard. Here we need and collect only a minimum of information. The personal data for offers remain with us, unless you book, up to the requested service period in the database and are then deleted at the latest 4 weeks after this period automatically.
We need personal data related to you to be able to make the reservation or booking of tourism services. We use your personal data exclusively in the context of this purpose of the contractual relationship to mediate and process the services and products. A collection, processing and use of your personal data for advertising or market research purposes does not take place.
Who else will receive your personal information from us?
For the execution and processing of the tourism services provided by us, we will forward your personal data to your respective contractual partner (for example tour operator, airline, hotel, travel agent, car rental, billing and distribution system service provider or travel insurance).
Due to a US Federal Terrorist Investigation Act, airlines are required to provide each passenger’s flight and reservation information to the US immigration authorities prior to entry. Entry into the US is not possible without this data transfer.
In the case of an Internet Partner Program, we only transmit the personal data you have entered as well as your binding booking request to the agency you have designated.
In connection with the use of the online services, we pass on your data to our online system service providers (hosting system operators, internet booking engines, mid-office systems and global distribution systems).
We transfer personal data to the extent permitted by law only in cases in which this is necessary for the processing of your booking or the related payment process. Collection or transfer of personal data to state institutions and authorities is only possible within the framework of mandatory legal provision. The transfer of personal data addresses, to third parties expressly does not take place.
How is your data protected?
In order to process your personal data as securely as possible, we generally use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) security software, especially for the request for quotation, as well as the booking of a tourist service for the data transmission between your computer and our server. This leads to the fact that the data transmission is encrypted in each case.
Your personal data will be stored exclusively in compliance with the legal regulations within the Federal Republic of Germany.
As far as we forward data to our service providers within the framework of the services described here, these are bound to contractual requirements with us in addition to the mandatory statutory provisions with regard to data protection.
Of course, you have a right to information
You are entitled to receive information about the data we have stored on request and free of charge. You may also request rectification, deletion or blocking of incorrect data. Under certain circumstances, deletion may be precluded by statutory provisions, in particular with regard to data for legal billing and accounting purposes.
